Our charges are based on two factors: the loan amount and the complexity of customer circumstances . We offer a free initial consultation and always explain exactly what customers will be charged before we proceed with an application. As we offer a bespoke service our charges can vary. Our minimum fee is £495, (of which a non-refundable £350 is payable when you make a formal mortgage application). The average fee paid by our clients over the last year was 0.20% of their loan value. (For example, if your loan amount is £250,000 our average fee would be £500). If a customer circumstances are more complex we may charge a higher fee. Our maximum fee is 1% of the loan value. (For example, if your loan amount is £250,000, our maximum fee will be £2,500

• We have to recommend a suitable mortgage and be able to justify why the particular mortgage we have chosen is right for you. In contrast, if you go directly to a high street mortgage lender, don't take advice, and then end up with a mortgage that later becomes unaffordable, you've only yourself to blame.
• There's an awful lot to choosing the right mortgage. It's not as simple as just the cheapest fixed or tracker rate mortgage you can find!
• Mortgage brokers have to be qualified to give you mortgage advice – a lot of call centre and branch staff aren't qualified to give advice.
